Yeah, it's weird that we haven't gotten any new main games after 30. For the next series I'd like if they went back to basics. Like start the first game fairly "low tech" with OG Gundam, OG Mazinger, OG Getter, GGG, Macross, etc. Then for the second game have a time skip and enter an era with Zeta, Macross Plus and/or 7, etc. Ditto for the third where you get CCA and/or Unicorn, Macross F, Shin Getter. And agree with @Dramata: IMPACT was cool but also suffering. haha

Huckebein 30 is a disappointment in my opinion. Sure is a good unit to play with but in term of being a unit celebrating srw 30th yr. Is just a bit boring and plain, it doesn't have that blow away your mind wow factor like other super robot. The moves and design are very plain and boring, for a 30th yr srw celebrating mech is a tad plain unlike the chinese dragon/tiger mech and other super robot mech.

I can recognize this series so well without ever checking it out simply because of the character with two different irises. Very good character design I guess.

Oh Wow. Front Mission 3. I put so many hours into that one back in 2000. At least well over 100 when you consider I beat both routes. Jacking enemy mechs made for a great mechanic. of course that worked both ways. Couldn't you skill to knock pilots out of Wanzers?

It would have been cool if they revealed that in his previous lif Ernesti was one of the engineers that worked on the V project with Tem Ray. And revealed that to Amuro, a nice scene where Ernesti confesses to Amuro that his father always loved him.

L take sure this show doesnt do anything new but it does what it set out to do very well and the characters work well together. its nothing too special but i would put it above most average shows as it does all the cliches very well and i get the feeling its sort of a semi parody the show feels like they are making fun of all these tropes in mech anime. i liked it a lot.

the biggest disappointment is the switch from pixel graphics to more 3D ones, like I understand it, its cost beneficial but... i loved the retro look more, it had more personality than most of the characters tbh lol

The DLC roster for this game was a disappointment. They offered no obscure characters from other titles outside of Disgaea games. It was safe and boring.

This is the only moment so far I think 名倉正博 (the main Writer) did his job right. After 70+ missions.

OG3 Would be godly, the anime is mad underrated too, Generations on the console really helped solidify the story I liked Axel way more on console then on gba where he was just a psycho. Seeing great characters like Arado, Ryusei, Excellin, Sanger, would be great in OG3 and would love Alfimi/Axel return as well as more Ibis and Lamia Loveless who I think is one of the best characters in the series especially considering how short in retrospect there airtime is.

I felt like X was a missed opportunity all around, it had a great concept, like SRW Gaiden with Masaki(With him even appearing on X), but I felt they didn't commit to the bit enough or just handled it's series abit awkwardly, it could had been a great fantasy focused SRW entry had T and it just swapped a few series in.

this game also ran great on switch, without looking like a blurry mess it was really refreshing

Didn’t know there are podcast like this of people who love the series around too. Good listen. As an old fan of the series, the old games like Alpha series and Impact are just the best. Always my favorite of the bunches.

I mean it's kind of in the name, we are talking about story and gameplay in games, of course gameplay is more important, especially in RPGs, to me it doesn't matter how good or bad the story is, if it's fun to play, play meaning gameplay, then that's all that matters, but to me specifically in RPGs I think progression is just as important as gameplay, power fantasy is what makes RPGs fun to play, without a doubt gameplay and progression are the two major pillars of RPG design

I’m liking the art style

If I have billions of $ Xenogears is really I want to get a 2D HD remake with disc 2 completed with gameplay. Or that is how I will use if Genie or Dragon balls are real.

One thing I’d love to see, probably won’t happen outside of one off DLC, is Godzilla Singular Point. Just to have Jet Jaguar kill Gendo Ikari because 3.0 + 1.0 is probably going to be coming in some form for the next game.

I do not like jumbify system, the old system with big fused monsters was better. Why will they not introduce aura's like in Dragon Ball, with different multipliers and possible draw backs.

Hey man we all got our opinions. But having played every srw game so far, i feel that moon dwellers truly has the greatest animations. I played T right after my MD run recently, and the quality of animations is so bad. Plus moon dwellers actually has some challenge compared to all the recent additions. The negative to moon dwellers is that it is a bit too long feeling in the early-mid game. Those are my thoughts

If I’m being honest gen 9 have solid Pokémon designs & ones I enjoy which i haven’t felt this way since gen 5 (I love Unova mons majority look cool imo a small percent don’t dictate the entire 150 + mons) The starters are amazing designs wise I just hate how they made the duck walk zesty & dance 24/7. Other than that solid starters which I once again enjoyed since gen 5 (Unova starters being last time the trio were all on the animal side ie a snake with no legs, A Monstrous looking Boar & a quadrupled seal lion)

FFX blew my mind back then! The graphics were jaw dropping for ten year old me.
